Ambient

I finally used a guitar on one of my tracks, albeit briefly.

I produced this during a red hot summer break from work, where I would go for a walk every day by the river and listen to chilled ambient tracks. In the back of my mind, I have always wanted to produce something akin to the Disintegration Loops, but was never sure where to start. I think this is the closest so far…

This is what happens when you feed a Moog Subsequent 37 into a Strymon Volante effects pedal and just play with the filter.

I wanted to drop the tempo a bit for this one and take Arturia's augmented strings for a spin. The finished product had a robotic feel to it with a melancholic ethereal vibe, hence the name. Take it for a stroll in the park on a sunny morning.

After quite a break from making music, I found myself experimenting with the Tascam recorder and some toy sounds during the holiday. A good opportunity to try out the Ableton wavetable synth too!
