I started working on this track during the week that our hamster, Mr. Nibbles, passed away, so it feels fitting to name the track after him.
I wanted it to be lively and full of hope, to capture that optimistic feeling that there’s a boundless existence to be found in the afterlife. I think it works.
This is the first track I have produced using Steinberg’s Cubase 13.
Until now, I have exclusively used Ableton Live or, in the distant past, Sony Acid Pro to produce all my tracks.
We miss you Mr. Nibbles! This one is for you wherever you are.
